影片为《红酒烩鸡》的续集，故事发生在上一集结束后的两年，逐渐步出了混乱生活的亨利（蒂尔·施威格 饰）和女友卡特琳娜（雅斯明·格拉特 饰）过上了平静和谐的生活。随着卡特琳娜的怀孕，危机再次来临。工作上，亨利要应付难缠的合作伙伴，在生活上，亨利还得想方设法抚慰女友敏感的心，两头忙活的他感到身心俱疲。可即便如此，卡特琳娜还是离开了亨利，她需要亨利好好的想一想，究竟什么才是生命当中真正重要的东西。与此同时，古灵精怪的玛格达琳娜和养父特里斯坦（塞缪尔·菲尼茨 饰）也来到了各自的生活瓶颈处。。everyone wants to know who the Mexican is.
