本剧以武汉市特警队的几位国家公安部英模的人物及事迹为原型。故事围绕江城一支特警队展开，一批刚刚加入特警队的新队员宁锋、姚帅、林曦等人，经过刻苦的训练、通过实战的检验，在富有经验的老队员谭征、叶海龙、方梅的帮助下，从一批单纯自我的80后成长为能够牺牲自己保卫人民利益的真正的社会的保卫者。。Nahuel lives with his father in a fishing town, yet he has a deep fear of the sea. One day, he finds a magical book that seems to be the solution to this problem, but a dark sorcerer is after it and captures Nahuel's father. This is where his journey to rescue his father and overcome his fears begins。
