饿死鬼是佛教语中的六道之一，人在生前做了坏事，死后要进入饿鬼道遭受地狱折磨；很多年前，一位降头师来到荒村借宿，村民无意中发现，降头师正在将老婆的尸体进行献祭复活仪式，村民惊恐之下烧掉了降头师的老婆，于是降头师愤恨的给村子下了最恶毒的降头术——饿鬼降。从此村民再也无法进食，从而互相残杀。据说，成为饿死鬼的人，除非抓到替死鬼，否则永世不得超生。 若干年后，凶宅先生江烁和秦一恒接到了一个神秘的大单，一行人驶向当年的神秘村落。却只看到一个荒废的旅馆，而这个荒村的旅馆却怪事频发，失踪案一个接着一个……。Juan, a prison officer, silently observes the visit every Sunday of Berta, mother of one of the imates. The day he finally approaches her, he surprises himself by pretending to be another visiting father and inventing a daughter inside the jail: Josefina. The need to fill the vacuum of their lives prompts Juan and Berta to continue meeting outside the reality around them.。
