该剧主要讲述了人气网络作家房明秀，和把明秀前女友们的故事搬上银幕的电影制作人金秀珍之间的浪漫爱情喜剧故事，通过这个过程，房明秀和四个前女友们再度“欢聚一堂”。。该剧以小人物折射大历史，反映长春60年间，特别是改革开放以来城市的发展变迁，市民精神风貌和从中彰显出来的城市精神，同时将一汽、长影等长春元素有机地结合剧中，通过关注棚户区改造，下岗再就业等民计民生问题，来讲述老百姓的故事。。It’s summer and a group of young women head off for a week to a house in the country in order to rehearse a play.
