本片跟《小鬼当家》是同一个套路，但“小鬼”的年龄更小，只有五岁，调皮捣蛋的程度也远远超过考尔金的角色。本片改编自50年代的漫画及后来的电视剧，小鬼丹尼斯跟邻居威尔逊老头的往来乃剧情的主线。该片在同年及1998年还有两部电影版，但每部演员都不同。。好色的钻石店老板，拥有着一颗价值连城、拥有了它就拥有了风流的资本的全城最贵钻石，色迷心窍的老板隐瞒着老情人，勾搭着女主持人去酒店开房，却不想正在他风流之时，钻石却被抢劫。同时劫匪又在酒店交易时，状况连连，故事抽丝剥茧式的叙述出了一桩惊天阴谋。。Back in the 80s, five friends cause raucous in their schooldays.
